Background information

The signature collection to stop the building of new institutions started because in Germany many new institutions are still being built. With Stop the Building of New Institutions signature collection, ISL hopes to change the system to provide for more support in the community.

Aims and objectives

On one hand, the aim of the signature collection is to stop the building of new institutions and reduce the number of the existing ones. On the other hand, the goal is to establish support systems and services for disabled people for living in the community (such as personal assistance).
